Matt Schramm attended Bremen High School, and graduated from Taylor University in 2004. He graduated from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2013.
After law school, Schramm worked for the Marion County Courts. Schramm is a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps. After serving on active duty from 2006 to 2010, including 10 months in Ramadi, Iraq, he is currently a drilling reservist.
Schramm made the decision to become an attorney while stationed in Iraq. The more he researched the legal profession, the more he liked the idea of being part of it. Schramm’s father is a small-business owner, and Schramm was also drawn to the idea of assisting local businesses.
Schramm and his wife, Allison, have two children, Ryne and Sydney.
